Access: Bronte Country Estate is 30 minutes from Nelson and Nelson airport. Situated on the waters edge of the Waimea Estuary at Mapua, between Nelson and Motueka, close to vineyards, cafes and art galleries.
Te Koi – The Lodge at Bronte, offers exclusive luxury accommodation in a tranquil natural setting. Nestled on the edge of the Waimea Estuary on Nelson’s historic Bronte Peninsula, the property is surrounded by water, and set in beautiful established gardens.
As Nelson’s premier 5-star waterfront property, Te Koi – The Lodge at Bronte features five suites and villas set in gardens surrounding the lodge, each with beautiful water views. The main lodge offers a spacious living room and library for guests to relax.
Four air-conditioned suites and villas are separate and privately located on the Peninsular. Each offers a private entrance and furnished deck overlooking the estuary.
Te Koi (Maori for headland) Private Villa – this private self-contained exclusive villa, with a level of service equal to any you will find worldwide, is beautifully appointed and is air-conditioned. The villa is located on its own promontory overlooking the Estuary with views to Mapua and Rabbit Island. A private spa pool overlooks the estuary is exclusive to Te Koi – Private Villa. Discerning guests will appreciate the helipad that allows direct access to the whole Nelson region and all it has to offer.
A three-course table d’hote dinner served each evening in the lodge dining room, or on spacious decks overlooking the peaceful gardens. The menu changes daily, featuring seasonal local products. Included is a fine selection of quality local wines.
Enjoy the beautiful gardens and parkland, the heated swimming pool and full-size tennis court. Play petanque or book a cycle tour around the countryside, visiting art galleries and vineyards.
The lodge is central to the Nelson region, a twenty-five-minute drive from the airport. Discerning guests may prefer to arrive by helicopter. The area is surrounded by award-winning wineries and internationally renowned cafes and galleries. The lodge offers transfer by luxury car and private tours to see local sights. Perhaps to Golden Bay or a private boat excursion in the Abel Tasman National Park.
