You can not get closer to the sand. Our lawn runs to the sand at the bottom of the 4 steps from the deck to a white sand beach with high water mark only 20 meters from the house.

Enjoy the clean clear waters of the Omaha estuary, explore the waters edge up to the bird sanctuary just 300 meters away.

Very few people get the opportunity to live this close to the water. Also enjoy the stunning views across the estuary to the hills beyond or watch the stunning sunsets from the deck or just sit on the sand while enjoying an evening drink and canapés.

A 3km long white sand surf beach is on the other side of the estuary, only 300 meters away.

Activities - Just relax and watch the water activities or take part using one of the kayaks, dinghies or surf skis available. Jump off the jetty, swim ashore to pick up your favorite book and relax on the deck. Additional opportunities are available to join hosts for boating and fishing excursions on their 55 foot luxury launch.

Local area - The local area of Matakana boasts excellent vineyards, art trails, restaurants, cafes and golf courses. Our local golf course is just 400 meters down the road.
