UPDATE & NEW PRODUCT

New Years Eve & Christmas Surcharges:
Please note The Boatshed is introducing a compulsory Christmas & New Years Eve Surcharge of NZ$250 per person (non commissionable). This rate includes The Boatshed degustation dinner and champagne. Dates 25th December and 31st December 2007. This will also apply for the 2008/09 summer.

Degustation Dinner:
As of October 1st 2008 The Boatshed is delighted to offer guests a 4 course Degustation dinner. The rate for this will be NZ$110 per person (non commissionable). This can be pre-booked or booked on arrival. We will send out the all inclusive dinner, bed and breakfast rates for agents after TRENZ.

Boatshed Bungalows: NEW
In December 2007 The Boatshed will introduce two new suites “The Boatshed Bungalows”. These will be built across the road from the main Boatshed building with the same “seaside village” feel. This new building will also house a spa facility underneath the two new suites.

Both rooms face north with sea, bush and beach views with all day sun. One has the added beauty of southern vistas and magnificent sunsets.

Each room will be spacious with their own entrance lobby, French doors which will open out to large balconies and with indoor/outdoor fireplaces.

These rooms will be ideally suited to people travelling with a lot of luggage and long stay guests. Americans will appreciate the room proportions, exclusivity and privacy.

PLEASE NOTE: The building of The Boatshed Bungalows will not in any way effect the running of the property or disturb guests staying at The Boatshed from now until December as this is a completely separate property.

Spa at The Boatshed: NEW
The “Spa at The Boatshed” will also open December 2007. This luxury spa inspired by the seaside environment will focus on salt, sand and seaweed treatments taking the minerals of the sea to improve wellbeing.

Early Arrivals: NEW
With the addition of the Spa at The Boatshed we are introducing a new early morning arrival format. This is designed for those whose first stop in New Zealand is The Boatshed arriving off the early morning flights and wish to check in early.

An early morning arrival charge of NZ$260 per couple (fully commissionable) will be available to a maximum of three couples. This includes:

- Arrivals from 7am will be collected from the ferry or airfield
- Use of a private early arrival lounge to relax in
- Breakfast provided in the lounge with the Boatshed Jet-Lag reviving tonic
- Changing facilities, luggage storage, bathroom and shower with bathroom amenities
- Use of the spa facilities, sauna, steam room and treatments

PLEASE NOTE: Please pre book treatments in the spa for arrival to allocate treatment rooms if they would like to have a relaxation massage or lymphatic drainage after their flight to get into the holiday mode. Bookings at the spa are NOT commissionable; they will be charged to the clients account and settled on their departure.

Mini Moke Hire: NEW
This summer The Boatshed is making its famous Mini Moke “Togs” available for guests. Togs is fitted with an excellent sound system is a great way to get around Waiheke and explore the beaches and vineyards.

Car rental at NZ$140 (non commissionable) will cover unlimited miles, petrol and insurance from 7am til midnight.

Only available with a full license and guests over 25

It is recommended to pre book Togs in order to avoid disappointment on arrival

*The word Togs is New Zealand slang for bathing/swim suit, cozzy, swimmers, trunks…
