Enjoy the drive to the lodge through native forests and alongside historic lakes. Your hosts will regale you with the local history of these lakes along with the stories
of Mount Tarawera which erupted in 1886. Fishing charters pick up from the jetty for trips across to the hot water beach where you can dig in the sand and make
your own thermal pool.
