Cloud 9 is a boutique luxurious self-contained Villa located on a hill above the historic town of Russell with breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and the Bay of Islands. On a securely gated road and surrounded by natural bush, Cloud 9 offers both privacy and security.
Cloud 9 faces north and is not overlooked. Guests enjoy decking and terracing on 3 sides enticing them to relax on the loungers or in the stunning infinity pool, or maybe the spa pool, just soaking up those divine sea views.
There are panoramic unobstructed views of the coast, the land, the ocean and Long Beach below. From this privileged vantage point the crashing waves can be seen and heard some 100 meters below, whilst at night Kiwis can often be heard foraging in the bush.
Cloud 9 Villa sleeps six persons in three double bedrooms and two persons in one twin room. Two double bedrooms feature ensuite shower rooms; one double bedroom shares a bath/shower room with the twin room. All bathrooms have double basins. Quality linen and towels and luxurious L’Occitane toiletries.
Large open plan living, dining and kitchen area that has been equipped and furnished to the highest standards. Both living areas have gas log fires for guests to enjoy in the winter months, and air-conditioning throughout the villa for the warmer summer months. State of the art entertainment systems including flat screen televisions, Sky TV and complimentary wireless internet integrated into the house.
Cloud 9 has been rigorously assessed by Qualmark (New Zealand’s official tourism agency) and has been rated 5 STAR.
The historic township of Russell is located just a 10 minute ferry ride from Paihia and nearby Waitangi where the Treaty of Waitangi was signed – the founding document for New Zealand. The Bay of Islands boasts 144 islands and many secluded bays, and is ideal for sailing. Take a sightseeing cruise to view dolphins and whales, big game fishing for world famous Black Marlin. Helicopter rides, jet skis and other water sports available for the adrenaline junkies.
