Access: Acacia Cliffs Lodge is a 10 minute drive from Taupo Township. 20 minutes drive from Taupo airport. Local shops, cafes and the lake are a 10 minute walk.
Designed with a contemporary New Zealand flair, set on 2 hectares of landscaped grounds and home to unique native plants and birds, this luxury boutique lodge offers stunning panoramic views over Lake Taupo, Acacia Bay and the snowcapped Kaimanawa mountains.
Iconic furnishings of Mies van der Rohe and Le Corbusier can be found in the cosy lounges of the house, allowing guests to sit back and experience the seemingly tangible view of Mount Tauhara that lies behind expansive floor to ceiling windows.
Four designer suites feature super king bedding and luxurious ensuites, each with their own deck or courtyard designed to maximise the views.
The Mapara garden suite has the added luxury of a romantic freestanding bathtub.

Hosts Linda and Rick, are passionate about food and wine, have travelled extensively and appreciate the meaning of a warm, personal welcome. A passionate cook, Rick loves nothing more than sharing this with others – unless he is on the golf course! Linda has a real love of travel and the opportunities it offers to make new friends and share experiences.
